John Amann

John is an accomplished business professional with experience in leadership and entrepreneurship in music, financial services, medical devices and educational content. After saying a Novena asking that God provide him with a way to help Catholic schools find renewal, his prayer was answered many years later when he became the first outside board member at UC.

After teaching himself to play guitar, John paid his way through college with a band he co-founded and stays in practice, often performing with bands and helping out with the UC band. He also enjoys listening to Catholic podcasts, particularly those of Fr Mike Schmidtz and Bishop Barron. He and his wife live in Woodbury, have two daughters and belong to St Ambrose Catholic Community.
