Fr. Jim Perkl

Fr Jim got his B.A. from St Olaf and from there attended the St Paul Seminary. He has been the pastor at St John the Baptist in Savage, St Elizabeth Ann Seton in Hastings and has been pastor at Mary Mother of the Church in Burnsville since 2014. Before his pastorship, Fr Jim was associate pastor at St John Neumann in Eagan and St Dominic in Northfield. He has also served as a Spiritual Director at St John Vianney in St Paul. In addition to serving on the board at Unity Catholic, he has served on the boards of Risen Savior Missionaries Philippines in Zimbabwe and at the Catechetical Institute at The St Paul Seminary. He is currently the Chaplain for the Burnsville Police, Fire and Emergency Teams. Fr Jim is well-traveled and enjoys skiing, golfing and biking and is a very gifted iconographer.
